Limited 32-bit Driver Availability for Windows 7 ACPI Driver
Workaround for Skylake and Kabylake Devices
Important Notice for Windows 7 Users
Intel has issued a crucial update regarding ACPI drivers for Windows 7 operating systems on Skylake and Kabylake platform devices. For these platforms, Intel strongly recommends using Skylake processors exclusively for Windows 7.
Unfortunately, a 32-bit driver for this device is not available for Windows 7. Users who wish to continue using Windows 7 32-bit are advised to upgrade to a Skylake processor.
For those users who choose to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit, a hotfix (Microsoft ACPIMSFT0101) must be installed. This hotfix is specifically designed for Windows 7 64-bit.
Additionally, users may also encounter issues with HDMI audio on AMD devices. To resolve this issue, it is recommended to install the latest AMD HDMI audio driver.
