Proud new parents Anne Curtis Smith-Heussaff and Erwan Heussaff have finally revealed the name of their adorable daughter: Dahlia Amelie. The couple shared the full story behind the name in an interview published on May 10, 2023.
According to Anne, the name Dahlia was inspired by two films that hold special meaning for her. The first film is "The Blue Dahlia," a classic noir starring Veronica Lake and Alan Ladd. The second film is "Amelie," a French romantic comedy-drama starring Audrey Tautou.
Anne explained that she and Erwan chose the name Dahlia Amelie because it represents their hope that their daughter will grow up to be a strong, independent woman like Veronica Lake and a kind, loving soul like Amelie Poulain.
